Looking at Jazz, Part 3
Watch for next year's film and concert series.
Underwriting projects and program services include the Bellingham Youth Jazz Band, the Medical Fund, the Scholarship Lesson Fund and the Piano Liberation Organization which has placed 72 pianos and is looking forward to receiving piano and instrument donations to pass on to children and families in need.
All in all, The Project will produce 17 concerts and host more than 80 events in multiple venues throughout the year for more than 60 musicians.
Funding for these programs comes primarily from members like you. For the past nine concert seasons member donations have provided the lion's share of the annual budget, while corporate, foundation, and arts grants provide the balance of our funding needs. With that in mind, I encourage you to look over our exciting mix of jazz projects for 2008 and invest in making jazz accessible and affordable to all. You may order tickets and make donations on-line through the Jazz Project Store link.
